We are looking for a Marketing Lead with a strong B2C performance marketing experience to support the ongoing growth.
This role is based onsite in Rosedale on Auckland’s North Shore. While there is flexibility around working hours, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative office environment.
The Role:
While this role sits broadly across marketing, the core focus is performance marketing, customer acquisition, and conversion.
We’re looking for someone who understands B2C consumer behaviour, enjoys working with data and insights, and knows how to translate marketing activity into measurable commercial outcomes.This role will suit someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution - equally comfortable reviewing campaign performance as they are contributing to launches, content direction, customer engagement initiatives, and growth strategy.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving customer acquisition, engagement, and growth across NZ & Australia
- Leading digital marketing activity across paid social, Google, email, eCommerce, Instagram, TikTok, and web channels
- Using customer and campaign data to improve conversion, retention, and overall marketing performance
- Working closely with the Creative Lead on campaigns, launches, social content, promotions, and community engagement initiatives
- Supporting the ongoing growth of Gelous’ online presence and customer community through highly engaging, social-first marketing activity
- Managing campaign performance, reporting, and optimisation across key digital channels
- Collaborating closely with the Founder and GM to support broader brand and commercial growth initiatives
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in B2C consumer marketing, ideally within eCommerce, beauty, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, digital consumer behaviour, and customer acquisition
- Experience across paid social, Google Ads, EDMs, social media, and eCommerce marketing
- Confidence using marketing and customer data to guide decisions and improve campaign performance
- An understanding of social-first brands and the type of content and customer engagement that performs well across Instagram and TikTok
- A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to move between strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who genuinely enjoys consumer brands, social media, and modern digital marketing
